| 内容記述 | 研究成果の概要（和文）：本研究では大戦間期において神秘主義やオカルトなどに関心を持った科学者を取り上げ、彼らの科学的精神がいかにこれらの反文明的思考と両立していくのかという問題に取り組んだ。なかでもシュルレアリスム運動に参加した医師ピエール・マビーユの作品や研究を分析した結果、1930年代のフランスで流行した医学ホーリズムの重要性を再発見することができた。彼らホーリズム医学者たちの通俗科学的作品は当時の知識人に影響を与えていた。また、その多くのホーリズム医師が研究の特性もあってファシズムに引き寄せていったにもかかわらず、マビーユは反ファシズムを貫いたホーリスト医師の稀な例であることも示すことができた。 研究成果の概要（英文）： In this research, we focused on the scientists interested in occultism or spiritualism in interwar period to examine the relationship (the compatibility) between scientific mind and anti-progressive mind. As an ideal example, we explored the works of Dr. Pierre Mabille, who participated in the surrealism movement and we discovered the emergence of the medical holism movement of the 1930s in France has an important influence on the intellectuals in this period. We also showed while most of medical holists are near to fascism, Dr. Mabille was the rare example of left-wing holist. |
