| 内容記述 | [要旨]本稿では，実証分析により労働生産性と雇用者の賃金がどの程度リンクしているのかを検証する。分析結果から，1970年代と1980年代では，労働生産性の上昇は平均賃金を有意に上昇させていた。しかし，1990年代後半以降では，賃金の低い非正規雇用の割合増加の影響により平均賃金は低下しており，労働生産性と平均賃金との間には有意に負の関係がみられた。雇用形態別の結果では，労働生産性の上昇が正規雇用の賃金を上昇させているという明確な証拠は見られなかった。他方，労働生産性と非正規雇用の賃金との間には有意な正の関係が見られた。最後に，産業別の結果は産業ごとに大きく異なり，一部の産業では生産性と賃金が同時に低下している産業も見られた。 [Abstract] This paper examines to what extent labor productivity growth translate into wages in Japan. Our main results are as follows. Firstly, labor productivity growth significantly increased average wages in the 1970s and 1980s, but the relationship between labor productivity and average wages was significantly negative due to the negative composition effects of employment from the latter half of the 1990s. Secondly, there is no clear relationship between labor productivity and the wages of full-time worker, but the significant positive relationship between labor productivity and the wages part-time worker. Finally, the responses of wages to labor productivity differ among industries. In some industries, both productivity and wages declined during the same period. |
