| 内容記述 | 研究成果の概要（和文）：近代の聴覚文化の歴史に大きな変化をもたらした録音技術の文化史を構築する作業の一環として、フランスにおける同技術の黎明期（1850-1890年代）を対象とした調査を行った。具体的成果としては、①シャルル・クロをはじめとする先駆者たちの業績を調査することで、この技術の誕生を支えた知的コンテクストを浮かび上がらせるとともに、②録音技術が普及した際に生みだされた種々の言説を整理し、この技術に投げかけられた同時代の期待の広がりを（潜在的なものまでをも含めて）収集した。加えて、こうした微視的な歴史研究が持ちうる現代的意義を批判的に検討するために、サウンド・アーティストやアーキビストたちと対話を行った。研究成果の概要（英文）：As part of efforts to construct a cultural history of recording technology,which brought about a great transformation in modern auditory culture, we conducted a survey focused on the dawn of this technology in France. The specific results of this project were as follows: first, by investigating the achievements of pioneers, such as Charles Cros, the intellectual context that supported the birth of this technology was clarified; second, the various discourses that were produced when recording technology became popular were organized while the scope of contemporary expectations thrust upon this technology (including latent ones) was explored. In addition, we held a symposium to re-examine the potential contemporary significance of such historical research and conducted dialogues with sound artists and archivists. | |||||||||
