| 内容記述 | 研究成果の概要（和文）：地域社会における教員養成機関の存在意義を明らかにすべく、戦前期に２校以上の師範学校を設置した11の道府県における師範学校存廃論争の実態を明らかにした。東京都、北海道は、存廃論争が起こらず存置され、福岡県、大阪府、愛知県、静岡県、新潟県は、激しい廃止反対運動の末に２校の存置を勝ち取った。鹿児島県、熊本県、広島県、兵庫県は激しい廃止反対運動を行ったがその甲斐なく１校に統合された。これらの事例の違いには、反対運動を応援する知事の決定を覆す有力政治家の存在や、政治力のある学校長、政党の影響があることが明らかになった。研究成果の概要（英文）： This study clarified the significance of teacher training institutions in the community.I analyzed the abolition of ordinary schools in the prefecture where two or more normal schools were established before the war.Tokyo Prefecture and Hokkaido Prefecture Normal schools are maintained without the movement against the abolition, Fukuoka Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, Aichi Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture and Niigata Prefecture Normal schools won the establishment of two schools after the movement against the abolition. Normal schools in Kagoshima Prefecture, Kumamoto Prefecture, Hiroshima Prefecture, and Hyogo Prefecture were integrated into one school after the movement against the abolition.Behind these differences was the presence of politicians with power to overturn the governor's decision and the influence of the school principal with political power and political parties. | |||||||||
