| 内容記述 | Distribution of plants in the genus Arisaema (Araceae) in ruins of fortresses and their relationship with medieval military influences in Nara Prefecture were investigated. In 13 of the 25 ruins surveyed, a total of 5 Arisaema species were observed. These were widely seen in the ruins of fortresses occupied by the Yamato indigenous powerful clans, but were not found in those of the Tsutsui clan, a congregation force of Kofukuji Temple. These results suggested that in order to understand the distribution of Arisaema plants, it is necessary to consider not only the natural environment but also the influence of medieval military clans. | |||||||||
