| 内容記述 | 萩藩殿居村の江戸末期の庄屋文書が残されている。本研究は，米本位経済の下，百姓軒がどのように維持されたかの参考資料の提供を目的の1つとして，殿居村庄屋文書のうち，主に戸籍に関係する複数の史料を翻刻し，それらを相互に比較して，1826～1857年の世帯変遷の復元を試みた。その結果，潰れた百姓軒の後に，新百姓が配置されなかったと考えられる場合があるものの，分家などがあり，全体としては80軒台前半の軒数が維持されていたと考えられる。さらに，翻刻や比較の過程で明らかになった事実をもとに，『防長風土注進案』に記載がある瀧山城の障子の行方についても推定をおこなった。筆者らが調べた限り，この障子は，現在は残されていない。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Historical materials pertaining to village chiefs in Tonoi village, Hagi Domain (present-day Yamaguchi Prefecture） in the late Edo period, are accessible. These manuscripts were prepared manually utilizing archaic characters. We deciphered the manuscripts, created reprints, and compared them to restore the succession of households from 1826 to 1857. We discovered that certain peasant families went extinct while others established a branch family, resulting in consistent population of approximately 80 households during the research periods. Through reprint preparation and comparisons among them, we uncovered the whereabouts of shoji , paper doors that were moved out from a mountain castle in Tonoi around 1600. Regrettably, according to the authors’ investigations, such shoji may no longer exist in Tonoi. | |||||||||||||
