| 内容記述 | 研究成果の概要（和文）：京都府下8つのがん診療連携拠点病院に通院するがん患者を対象としたアンケート調査を行いサポートグループの参加状況や参加理由を調査した。569のアンケートが配布され275人の患者から回答を得た。135人の患者がサポートグループの存在を知っていたが参加経験者は23人だった。 ９１％のサポートグループ参加者が疾患と治療に関する情報を得ることを期待していた。 また７３％の参加者は他の患者の経験について聞くことを希望した。一方、本調査に参加した約半数の患者はサポートグループの存在を知らなかった。また認識していた患者の多くはサポートグループの参加経験がなかった。 研究成果の概要（英文）：We conducted a cross-sectional questionnaire survey with ambulatory patients with cancer across eight designated cancer hospitals to examine awareness of and reasons for participation or non-participation in cancer support groups. The questionnaire covered patients' demographics, disease characteristics, participation/non-participation in cancer support groups, and reasons for participation/non-participation. 569 questionnaires were distributed, and responses were received from 275 patients with cancer. Of these, 135 patients were aware of support groups and 23 had participated in a group. Patients who were aware of support groups were more likely to be young, female patients. Most support group participants expected to receive information about the disease and treatment (91%). They also wanted to hear about other patients' experiences (73%). About half of participating patients were unaware of support groups. Even among patients who were aware, many did not attend a support group. |
