| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the effectiveness of life-and-death education through 15weeks in college students from both a quantitative and qualitative approach. The education program focused on encouraging a sense of ownership. A questionnaire survey was conducted before (pre) and end of course (post) among students who had registered for a lecture on “The dignity of life”. One hundred fifty three students at pre and 155 students at post were analyze. As a result, the scores of “meaning of death for life” and “belief in existence of an after-life” were increased significantly after the course. Content analysis also showed that the number of attitudes categories towards life-and-death increased from 8 to 10 after the course. The students who failed to realize a value of human life decreased from 63% to 11% after the course. Based on these findings, further effective education on life-and-death was suggested. | |||||||||
