| 内容記述 | [Abstract] The body measurement technology has developed from the direct measurement using the tape measure and the caliper, to the electronic image methods using a photograph, a video image and laser scanning, etc. Although recording of numerical value is required for comparing with the past data, the recordability of photograph can be more nearly intuitively judged from much numerical value in many cases. For example, for recording changes of looks or body shape, the way which leaves one photograph was more nearly excellent rather than having measured and recorded numerical value in large numbers each time in many cases. For investigating change of body shape in many years past, we have devised the simple method in which a photograph was periodically taken by the standardized taking of a photograph and the numerical value of body measurement is calculated from the photograph by computer automatically with approximation of ellipse. The methodology is applied for body shape measurements of Judo students in university. The method estimates good approximation for chest waist and good correlation with total mass volume, but for buttock it is rather over estimation. This method seems to be a suitable method for secular change of body. | |||||||||||||||||||||
