| 内容記述 | [概要] 本稿では, 欧州での共通通貨ユーロの国際通貨としての位置づけおよび特徴を検討するのが目的である。 そのために, まず国際通貨制度の選択について考察し,その制度の中で, ユーロがどのように国際通貨として台頭するのか, そして現状がどのようであるのかを考察する。 ここでの結論は, ユーロがドルに次ぐ国際通貨としての役割をすでに担っているものの, ドルの役割を代替する,あるいは対等となるまでにはいたらない。 そのため, ユーロ域の通貨当局とアメリカの通貨当局との政策調整が重要になると考えられる。 [Abstract] This paper considers the character of the Euro as an international currency. For this purpose, the choice of international monetary regimes is investigated, to try to find the establish of the Euro as an international currency, and to examine the current situation of the use. This paper concludes that the Euro will not be a substitute for the U.S. Dollar nor with it equal the US dollar in value. Therefore, policy coordination will be important between the monetary authority in the Euro-Area, the European Central Bank, and the authority in the United States, the Federal Reserve. | |||||||||
