| 内容記述 | [抄録]アメリカ合衆国が独立を宣言(1776年)してから現代に至るまで, 北米先住民族の文化を理解し, 異文化の融合を平和的に進めてきたとは言い難い。 ナヴァホ族は強制移住先であるボスケ・レドンド(ニューメキシコ州)にてベースボールに類似した球戯をおこなっていた。 当該部族は異文化の強要や生活様式の変容が求められる時代と場所にありながら, 独自の解釈を混合させてべ一スボールを吸収したと考えられる。 そこで本研究は当該球戯の形式と用具について検討することにした。 [Abstract] The purpose of this study is to examine the ball game which the Navajos were playing. The United States could not understand the Native Americans even after the Declaration of Independence(1776). It is hard to say that America tried to understand other cultures. Therefore, it is still left as a problem in the present age. The Navajos were forced to migrate to Bosque Redondo (New Mexico). The ball game which resembled baseball there was played. It is thought that their ball game absorbed baseb- all of other culture in mixture with original understanding. | |||||||||
