| 内容記述 | [抄録] 本稿では、明治期に関西で活躍した松本重太郎の企業家活動を瞥見している。 松本が関西財界のリーダーとしての地位を確立するのは、関係企業数、公職の数、年間所得などから判断して明治25～30年頃のことであった。 そうした時期に山陽鉄道の社長に就いた。 就任直後の短期間において改善は行われたが、山陽鉄道の経営だけに集中できない状態にあった。 同社では実質的に総支配人によって業務はまかされ、大株主である三菱や慶応出身者によって主導権は握られていた。 [ Abstract] The purpose of this paper is to glance entrepreneurship of Jyutaro Matsumoto and to demonstrate administration of Sanyorailway Co.Ltd. while he was the president. He was one of the leaders of the business world in Kansai area in the Meiji period. He was busy with many business activities, for example, establishing and managing about 40 companies along with doing other official duties. So he didn't concentrate on managing Sanyorailway, though he reformed it for a short time. Instead of him, general managers mainly ran the campany. Some members of MITSUBISHI ZAIBATSU and KEIO graduates took the initiave of the company by holding many stocks. | |||||||||
