内容記述タイプ Abstract
内容記述 [Synopsis] Several Fusarium species occurring on pre-harvest cereals in Europe as causal agents of widespread stalk and ear rot of maize and head blight of small cereals, are capable of accumulating several mycotoxins in infected ears, some of which of dramatic importance. Three main groups of mycotoxins are identified : Trichothecenes, including T-2 toxin (T2) and derivatives, diacetoxyscirpenol (DAS), deoxynivalenol (DON), fusarenone X (FUS), and nivalenol (NIV) ; Zearalenon (ZEN) ; and Fumonisins (FB_1) Moniliformin (MON), beauvericin (BEA) , and fusaproliferin (FUP), were also reported in Fusarium infected cereal ears. There is increasing evidence for the occurrence of toxigenic strains of F. moniliforme and FB_1 in infected maize ears all over Europe associated, in southern countries, with F. proliferatum capable of accumulating FB_1, MON, BEA and FUP and, in northern regions, either with F. subglutinans producing MON, BEA and FUP, and/or F. avenaceum responsible for high MON presence. Epidemic of red fusariosis by F. graminearum and F. culmorum usually leads to the occurrence of ZEN, DON, 3AcDON, NIV and FUS, associated either with F. crookwellense responsible for higher NIV and FUS, and/or F. poae and F. sporotrichioides responsible for the presence of DAS and T2, respectively. The mycotoxins frequently encountered in head blight of wheat, barley and triticale in European countries are DON, 3AcDON, and ZEN produced by F. graminearum and/or F. culmorum succeeding from southern (warm) to northern (cold) regions. In northern countries, DON is frequently associated with NIV and FUS produced by F. graminearum and F. crookwellense ; with MON formed by F. avenaceum ; and/or with T2 derivatives and DAS produced by F. sporotrichioides and F. poae, respectively.
