| 内容記述 | The Particle Tracking Velocimetry, so-called PTV, is one of the most promising methods to measure instantaneous two dimensional flow fields in detail. In this paper, a new method to estimate vorticity distributions of the two dimensional flow fields which are measured by the particle tracking velocimetry is proposed. Velocity vectors obtained by a particle tracking velocimetry locate randomly on a two dimensional plane. The proposed method fits quadratic surfaces to the measured velocities in an interrogation area. The vorticity is evaluated by differentiating the fitted quadratic surfaces. The optimal size of the interrogation area is determined by Monte-Cairo simulation. The proposed method is applied to the PTV measurements of wind wave experiments. | |||||||||||||
