| 内容記述 | [Abstract]There have been various learning methods and new methods have always been introduced to the English language learners. However, there is no the best or the only method for your learning English. You can choose some out of them t o suit your learning style or purpose. It is worth trying all possibilities in your choice. One of the new possibilities is Mind Map. It is an expressive method of thinking developed by the British educator Tony Buzan. It is practically the diagram looks like the network of brain cells and actually corresponds with brain functions. Key images and key words, based on an individual way of thinking and associating, are drawn and written in the diagram, therefore, it will be an original one for the individual. Mind Map is considered to make memorization and recall easier and firmer because personal aspect and sensibility are involved in the process of its drawing. It is also believed to bring you new ideas. Mind Map can easily be drawn up following the basic rules offered. This paper introduces basic rules and procedures to draw up Mind Map and provides various examples showing how it can be produced, applied, and adopted to several genres of learning English. The paper also explains some features of Mind Map. A new hint on learning approach will be given. | |||||||||
