Although the vaccination has been conventionally performed using a manual injector, improved efficiency and reducing operator's burden need to be addressed. ln order to reduce the operator's burden by shortening time of each injection, we developed the fixed mount type injector that can detect the insertion of the hypodermic needle, and then inject the pre-fixed amount of vaccine. Its performance was tested at the Regional Fisheries Research Laboratories in Sirahama.
