 note = {Creating reading comprehension assessment instruments remains a problem for many EFL educators and researchers, alike. This paper will first provide an overview of literature pertaining to the various facets that make up the concept of reading comprehension. In addition, the cognitive processing model framework proposed by Embretson and Wetzel, will be discussed in detail.
