 note = {[Synopsis] The seasonal emergence and habitat of the cicada were investigated on the Nara Campus of Kinki University with Satoyama (coppice). Eight species of cicada were recorded on the Nara Campus. The most dominant species was Graptopsaltia nigrofuscata, and the second dominant species was Platypleura kaempferi. Two species, Cryptotympanata fucialis and Cicadetta radiator, were rare. Terpnosia vacua emerged in the spring and inhabited the pine forest. Tanna jaPonensis inhabited the forest, and P. kaempferi and G. nigrofuscata emerged on the garden trees., application/pdf},
