内容記述 | 1) A winter wheat, Akakawaaka, was cultured in test tube aseptically on the nutrient agar media containig GA in various levels.2) Applied GA stimulated the stem and leaf elongation markedly and promoted the flower initiation significantly. The optimum level for the shoot elongation was 100 ppm while that for the flower initiation was one ppm in the range tested.3) The elongation of the internodes caused by the GA application in Akakawaaka was observed and compared with those caused by complete darkness (etiolation) and by the photoperiodic treatments or vernalization (bolting) in other wheat varieties. The differences in positions of the elongated internodes may be suggestive the formation of available endogenous gibberellins or gibberellin-like substances at the time when the internode are physiologically active under the different conditions.4) The three types of stem elongation, i. e., the dark elongation, the long day induced elongation and the reproductive elongation were distinguished and discussed in some extent with reference to the endogenous gibberellin or gibberellin-like factors. | |||||||||
