| 内容記述 | [Author abstract]The writers made investigation into the ridge formation on the scales of the Kawachi-buna. The fish were reared in the fishpond of our university for a period of about one year after being hatched. Thereafter, they were divided into two groups: one group of fish were reared successively in the same fishpond, and the other group were transeferred to the Osaka Prefectural Freshwater Fish Experiment Station and reared in the fishpond. The environmental conditions were comparatively more favorable in the latter fishpond than in the former. The samples were caught in these two fishponds during the period from August, 1966 to September, 1968 at certain intervals and compared with each other. The results obtained are summarized as follows. 1) The fish reared under the favorable condition grow more rappidly and have rather numerous ridges on the scales and comparatively longer scale lengths, as compared with the fish reared under the unfavorable condition. 2) Between the body length and the number of ridges on the scale, there can be seen a positive linear correlation, which is common in the two groups of fish reared under the different conditions. A similar correlation can be seen between the body length and the scale length, but the fish reared under the favorable condition have comparatively greater growth rate of the scale length after being transeferred. 3) The spaces between the ridges on the scale are rather stable throughout four seasons. However, in the case of the fish reared under the favorable condition, the spaces are somewhat wider, as compared with the fish reared under the unfavorable condition. 4) Particularly in the lateral region of the scale, several discontinuous or disturbed ridges occurred annually, and therefore they would be applicable to the annual ring. However, none of such an annual ring appeared throughout a year, when the fish had been reared under the unfavorable condition.[摘要]カワチブナの同腹仔魚を、一部は環境条件の悪い池で継続して飼育し、他の一部は途中から環境条件の比較的よい池に移して飼育した｡これら両群から採取した資料を用いて、鱗の隆起線形成状況を比較調査した。1)環境条件のよい池に移されたもの(移植群)は、悪い池で飼育されたもの(継続飼育群)に比べて、体長の著しい増大にともない、鱗長の伸びか大きく、また鱗の隆起線数も多い。2)体長と鱗の隆起線数との間には、両群に共通する直線関係がみられる｡また,体長と鱗長ととの関係もほぼ直線的であるが、移植群は継続飼育群より体長に対する鱗長の伸び率か幾分大きい。3)鱗の隆起線間隔には顕著な季節的変化はみられない｡しかし、移植群では継続飼育群に比へて、隆起線間隔が幾分広くなる傾向を示している｡4)特に鱗の側域においては、隆起線に不連続や乱れかみられたか、これによって形成される輪紋は年周期で現われるので年輪とみなすことが出来る｡しかし、そのような年輪は環境条件の悪い池で飼育された期間中には出現していない。 | |||||||||||||
