内容記述 | [Author abstract]Infection of fungus causing Anthracnose is recognized after conidial germination and appressorial formation. Appressorial formation can be found when germ tube of the conidium contacts on plant cell wall or glass surface; this phenomenon is so-called contact stimulus. We presume that the same phenomenon may be also caused by the electric-stimulus. Conidial suspension of several anthracnose fungi isolated from Vegetables and Fruits was investigated on its conidial germination and appressorial formation when treated with some electricity. Experiments were carried out as follows: (1) After conidial suspension in beaker was treated with any electricity (0.0005-36.0 Wm), the conidial suspension slide-glass drop culture or hanging drop culture was carried out incubating at 24°C, for 6-24 hrs (beaker method). (2) After the conidial suspension Acryl-board drop culture or hanging drop culture was treated with any electricity (0.005-540.0 Wm), both cultures were incubated at 24°C, for 6-24 hrs (water agar method). The effects of strong electric-stimulus were observed as the inhibition of the conidial germination and appressorial formation. When the conidial suspension was treated with weak electric-stimulus and then incubated by the slide-glass drop culture (beaker method), the stimulated appressorial formation was caused. By the treatment with weak stimulus, when conidial suspension-drop was incubated by the method of Acryl-board hanging drop culture (water agar method), the stimulated appressorial formation was also caused. Appressorial formation produced by electric-stimulus is presumed as different factor as compared with the contact stimulus.[著者抄録](1)炭そ病菌の付着器形成には接触刺激が主要な条件と考えられることから数種の野菜・果実の炭そ病菌分離株を用いて電気刺激と接触刺激との関連について調査した.(2)胞子発芽および付着器形成は高い電気量で阻害されるが,低電気量で付着器形成は明らかに促進された.(3)接触刺激のある点滴条件で,低電気量で付着器形成が促進されることがしばしば認められた.これは接触により起る電気刺激と接触刺激とは別個の要因と考えざるを得ないようである.(4)さらに自然条件にふさわしい微小電流で長時間処理,酵素または代謝との関連,接触刺激を与えない実験方法などについて検討する必要がある. | |||||||||||||
