| 内容記述 | [Author abstract]We studied larvae of ayu, Plecoglossus altivelis, caught by a fish lamp set on the Uragami Bay bottom from 1972 to 1984. The larvae usually appeared around the second week of October and could be caught until the first ten days of May. The fewest larvae collected in one season was one, and the most taken was 1,270 ; body lengths were 6.1 to 42.8 mm. In some years, smaller fish were caught in part of the period, causing two or more peaks in the frequency distribution of size. We thought that the catch might be affected by the lowest water temperature at the bay bottom for that year, the age of the moon, the condition of the tide, and the settling volume of the plankton. In fact, these factors had no significant effect. [著者抄録]和歌山県浦神湾湾奥部において,夜間に電燈下で採集したアユ仔稚魚について,1972年以降13年間の調査結果を取りまとめた.アユ仔稚魚の出現状況は年次変動が大きいが,出現時期は10月中旬から5月上旬にわたった.年次別採集尾数は最低年で1尾,最高年で1,270尾であった.体長範囲は6.1 mmから42.8mmで,50mm以上の個体は採集されなかった.年次によって,小型魚が期間途中にも現れ,体長組成の頻度分布は多峰型を示した.アユ仔稚魚の出現状況の変動要因として,湾内最低水温,月齢,潮位・潮汐,プランクトン沈澱量などとの関係について考察したが,いずれとも著しい相関性がみられなかった. | |||||||||||||||||||||
