| 内容記述 | [Author abstract]Butterflies and moths visiting flowers of the glossy abelia, Abelia grandiflora REHD., a tree introduced into Japan in the 1920s and now widely planted, were investigated in Osaka, Japan. Thirteen species of butterflies and 28 speciesof moths were recorded. Most of them were highly migratory species and pests at the larval stage. The nectar of the glossy abelia flower is probably important as energy needed for migration and as nutriments for the reproduction of these species. [著者抄録]公園や道路の緑化木として広く植栽されているアベリアに訪花するチョウとガの種類を大阪府下で調査した。その結果、チョウ類が13種、ガ類が28種類記録された。これらの種類には、移動性に富みしかも幼虫期に農作物を加害する種類がかなり含まれていた。アベリアの花の蜜は、それらの移動・分散のエネルギー源および繁殖の栄養源として大きな役割を果し、害虫の発生を間接的に助長している可能性が示唆された。 | |||||||||||||
