| 内容記述 | 研究成果の概要(和文):19世紀前半に経済学大衆化に貢献した人物として知られているジェイン・マーセットについて、その経済学に関する著書3点を含む児童教本類を精読し、また同時代に活躍した同分野や他分野における教本執筆家や教育者の作品とも適宜比較分析した。その結果、マーセットが先達者であるエッジワースやバーボールドから児童教育の在り方や形式に関して影響を受け、また反対に、後継者であるマルティノーやその他多くの教本執筆者たちには内容と形式の両面において多大な影響を与えていたことが判明した。 研究成果の概要(英文) This research concerns Jane Marcet, known as a contributor of popularizing political economy in the first half of the 19th century. Comparing her main books on economics (called "political economy" at that time) as well as her textbooks for children with other books by her contemporaries, has clarified that Marcet was greatly influenced by her predecessors such as Barbauld and Edgeworth in their attitudes toward educating children, and that she also influenced her followers such as Martineau and other textbook writers, in shaping the contents of their textbooks for children. | |||||||||
