内容記述 | Due to the impact of covid-19, our college introduced remote classes from the academic year 2020. Since the academic year 2021, we have returned to face-to-face classes, and have held remote classes temporarily. On the other hand, economics has been taught via remote classes throughout the academic year 2022. Although remote classes have advantages for students, there are concerns that it may result in a lower level of comprehension compared to face-to-face classes. As a result of statistical analysis of the midterm exam, the following points were revealed. The score of the midterm exam in the academic year 2022 were significantly lower than that of the previous year. It was also found that the range of scores was getting wider. In addition to the efforts of teachers to improve student’s understanding, it is important to encourage students to change their mindset and adapt to remote classes with understanding their advantages and disadvantages. It will also be necessary to overcome the weaknesses of remote classes by combining them with other learning methods. | |||||||||
