UV-LED is emitted UV-C which is the high potential germicidal efficiency for microorganism, and UV-LED is expected to be applied to water disinfection because UV-LED can use UV near 260 to 280 nm, which has the highest UV absorption rate for genes. This study aim is to evaluate the inactivation characteristics of drug-resistant organism with UV-LED irradiation. The UV irradiation experiment using for UV-LED, low-pressure vapor lamp and high-pressure vapor lamp as comparison was performed to understand disinfection efficiency for antibiotic E. coli, which was detected from sewage as the indicator microorganisms.
