| 内容記述 | The old town in Nabari City, Mie Prefecture, was built by Takayoshi Todo from 1636. Since then, the population has increased and the area of the town has continued to expand. The old town had a big fire in 1711, and it is said that the existing townhouses were completed after that. There are four townhouses in the old town that have become registered tangible cultural properties and were completed in the Edo period. Furthermore, a survey of the former Masuoka family residence revealed that the main house was built between 1804 and 1854 (late Edo period). | |||||||||
