Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) was spin-coated on an indium tin oxide (ITO) glass substrate, and then baked on a hot plate at 100 °C for 10 min. After that, the blends of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and [6, 6]-phenyl C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) were dissolved in chloroform (1wt%) and spin-coated on the PEDOT:PSS film. Finally, aluminum as a cathode was deposited thorough shadow mask. As a preliminary step to pulse wave measurement, we irradiated light intermittently to the organic optical sensors and succeeded in observing light-responsive signals.
