In view of the recent situation of the covid19 virus, it is important for students to actually experimentally confirm the effects of throat clearing and actually experience it for themselves in order to carry out learning and research activities with peace of mind. Therefore, we created a smoke wind tunnel that can easily visualize the behavior of exhaled breath when clearing the throat, and the students in the laboratory actually visualized and observed the behavior of exhaled breath. As a result of the experiment, it is found that a distance of about 90 cm or more is required to avoid the direct hit of the exhaled breath when throat clearing. Therefore, it can be said that wearing a mask is indispensable for conducting experiments in the laboratory. |
