| 内容記述 | [Abstract] Japan is still faced with the problem of "children on the waiting lists for daycares", putting working parents in a very difficult situation. One of the reasons of this situation is the shortage of childcare workers of daycares and nursery schools. The rate of turnover and carrier change of childcare works are high. And about 40%of new graduate students in majoring early childhood education chose general office work except for childcare works, according to a survey of a year 2019 by Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. This research is to clarify the carrier consciousness of students majoring in early childhood education course of a junior college. This questionnaire survey focuses on their thoughts about becoming childcare workers and their motivations, furthermore, it analyzes the important elements for entering employment as childcare workers. The result will help to reconstruct program and curriculum for students’ carrier development and to raises individual's awareness of responsibility as childcare workers. | |||||||||
