| 内容記述 | [概要]インドは2013年に新たに制定した会社法の中で，外資企業を含むインドで活動する企業のうち，一定条件を満たす企業は利益額の一定割合を CSR 活動に支出することを義務づけた。本稿はインドにおける公的セクター企業の CSR 活動の特徴を探るため，国営火力発電会社（NTPC）の事例研究を行う。はじめに2013年の会社法における CSR 規程の概要をおさえ，次に NTPC の CSR 活動の内容を紹介する。最後にそれらの活動が，筆者がこれまでに調査した一般民間企業のそれらと比較してどのような特徴があるのか，課題は何かについて検討する。 [Abstract] The Companies Act of 2013 mandated CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in India. The company which meets certain criteria has to spend at least 2％ of the average net profits of the company made during the three immediately preceding financial years to CSR. This paper aims to study the characteristics of public sector companies in India taking the case of National Thermal Power Company (NTPC). The paper begins with introductory explanation of the Companies Act of 2013 including its historical background information. Then the paper introduces a variety of NTPC’s CSR initiatives. The paper ends with comparative analysis of the CSR activities between NTPC and private companies. |
