The database used in this study (Japanese Panel Study of Employment Dynamics, Recruit Works Institute) was gathered nationwide, including 66 industries and 208 occupations in Japan from 2017 to 2019, which was provided by the Social Science Japan Data Archive, Center for Social Research and Data Archives, Institute of Social Science, The University of Tokyo. The effects on happiness and labor productivity were the greatest when the telework period is 10 to 30 hours a week.
