 note = {https://kaken.nii.ac.jp/grant/KAKENHI-PROJECT-16K03041/, 研究成果の概要（和文）：本研究は、前研究課題「近世・近代移行期における公娼制度の社会史的研究」の成果を引き継ぎ、明治5年（1972）の「芸娼妓解放令」を契機とする近代公娼制度の再編過程について、「芸娼妓解放令」にたいする遊廓社会の対応にくわえ、娼妓・芸妓の経験という観点から、娼妓・芸妓にとっての近代公娼制度の歴史的意味を明らかにすることをめざした。　その結果、娼妓・芸妓の性と生の内実に迫りうる一次史料が新たに発見され、それをもとに娼妓・芸妓の経験からみた近代公娼制度の歴史的特質について分析を深めた。研究成果の概要（英文）：The preset work took over the previous achievements “Study of the social history of the state-regulated prostitution in the early modern times, the modern shift period”.
