| 内容記述 | [ABSTRACT] The time course of coronary angiographic findings of lesions following successful PTCA was studied. Coronary angiography was performed before, immediately after, one day after and 4months after PTCA in 75 lesions of 69 patients. Coronary angioscopy was performed before and immediately after PTCA in 21 lesions of another 21 patients. In the 75 PTCA lesions, restenosis was found in 27 (36％) patients by the follow-up angiography. The lesion in which coronary stenosis at PTCA sites increased from immediately after PTCA to one day after PTCA showed significant restenosis at the chronic phase. The restenosis occurred more frequently at lesions showing haziness on the coronary arteriogram one day after PTCA. At the lesions with this haziness, thrombus formation, disruption of atheroma and exfoliation of intima were frequently observed on the luminal surface of the coronary artery by the coronary angioscopy. The angiographic haziness demonstrated one day after PTCA was no doubt an ominous sign of restenosis. In conclusion, the coronary lesions which had initial successful PTCA and developed restenosis at the chronic stage were characterized by marked haziness one day after PTCA. | |||||||||
