| 内容記述 | [Abstract] The purpose of this study is, firstly, to find out what kind of suffering has caused lepers to despair, and, secondly, to better understand their sufferings by realising that each of us shares more or less the same suffering as theirs, as long as we live. This should make us realise that their sufferings were not exceptional, and we will come to know that they suffered more as a human being than as a leper. This work was developed on the analysis of the facts exposed by the testimonies that I found in the monthly periodical published between November 1952 and December 1982 of the Protestant church Akebono, located in the national leper colony Nagashima Aiseien, Okayama prefecture in Japan. | |||||||||
