| 内容記述 | [Abstruct]The professional skills of nursery workers are regarded as national qualification by amended Child Welfare Act in 2001. However, the comment on tweeter “It’s a job anyone can do” shows that nursery working seems that anyone can capable of working at a nursery. The recognition is also related to the low wage and the low social status of nursery worker, ignoring their professional skills. Nursery workers’ responsibility is quite heavy to guarantee the development of the child and to adequate quality in nursery working for the best interests of the child. In addition, the demand of nursery works is also high to solve the problem of wait-listed children. On the other hand, their social status, income and working conditions are insufficient for their high qualified skills. This study focus on the reason for the imbalance of social status and their specialized skills. Especially, I discuss characterizes of nursery works which has been affected by social changes and needs, and the process to obtain the national certification including training education curriculums and systems. At last, I make suggestions to increase social status of nursery workers and to promote their professional skills. | |||||||||
