Leakage of personal information causes huge damage on corporations, customers, their families, and other people involved. Also in this case, so much personal information has leaked out of a corporation, which is very famous in Japan. The Court thinks leakage of information as invasion of privacy rights. About the problem of “invasion of privacy rights caused by leakage of personal information”, the Courts (the Kobe District Court, the Osaka High Court, and the Supreme Court) adopt different logic each.
