内容記述 | [Abstract] The present paper represents the second part of an exploration into the relation between logic and language structuring, with special focus on the autonomy of the judgments of idiomatic correctness and textual adequacy (appropriateness) with respect to the judgments of congruence and logical coherence. The first part of the study (Tămâianu-Morita 2018) discusses the theoretical background of the problem starting from a conceptual distinction between two acceptations of ‘Logic’ proposed by E. Coseriu (1957, 1976). The framework is then applied to the analysis of instances where the judgments of incongruence are suspended through the semantic organization of particular languages as historically-constituted traditions of speech. Moving on to the level of discourse / texts, the present contribution focuses on the issue of suspendability viewed from the perspective of texual sense construction processes. With illustrative analyses carried out from a contrastive point of view, we argue that the strategies of suspending judgments of logical incongruence are motivated by each text’s overall signifying intention, and play an important role in circumscribing the text’s typological orientation. | |||||||
