GIS enables the presence or absence of spatial autocorrelation between the number of convenience stores in an area and the population, and identifies Hot Spots or Cold Spots, employing both Spatial Autocorrelation (Global Moran’s I) and Hot Spot Analysis (Getis-Ord Gi*).
