This study aims to develop a fundamental technology for promoting heat transfer using PA. In this paper, basic experimental results on the heat transfer characteristics of the heated flat plate with the PA placed in flow are reported. The results of the heat transfer experiments under forced convection are as follows. The heat transfer coefficient under PA activation is improved by about 27% as compared with no activation.
