| 内容記述 | 〈Abstract〉This paper attempts to cast a new light on textuality between Libra, and archives regarding the assassination of JFK, with a hypothesis that technologies broke down Oswald’s identity. The text of Libra created with the use of DeLillo’s imagination and texts of archives related to the assassination get entangled and weave a distinctive world so that Libra goes to the heart of the incident even now. Oswald’s ghost has still been lingering and asked us who killed JFK. 本論文の目的は、アメリカ大統領ジョンF. ケネディの暗殺 (1963) を題材にしたドン・デリーロの作品Libra (1988) とその暗殺関連の公的資料とがいかに絡み合い独特な世界を織りなしているのか検証を行った。ここでは、テクノロジーが、公式には単独犯とされているリー・ハーヴェイ・オズワルドのアイデンティティを拡散し、そしてその過程で、ケネディ大統領暗殺計画にオズワルドが巻き込まれていったのではないかとの仮説を立て論じた。まず、「書く」という行為がオズワルドのダブルを生み出し、そしてメディアに翻弄されたことが、オズワルドのアイデンティティ拡散に繋がったことを、Libra及びそれに関する公文書から紐解き、フィクションであるLibraが公文書に基づきながらも、事実関係文書の空隙を補って余りある作品となっていることを論証した。 |
