| 内容記述 | [概要]本稿では，京都市下京区の河原町周辺にてフィールドワークを行い，現存するファイアマークを発見し，その場所と画像をデータとして保存することを目的としている。フィールドワークの結果，東京火災７個，日本火災２個，明治火災１個，東洋火災１個の計１１個のファイアマークを新たに確認することができた。そのうち，東洋火災は今回の調査で初めてファイアマークが見つかった。わが国火災保険会社の創業から１３０年目となる今年，古い町並みに残るファイアマークの置かれた状況は厳しく，その確認・保存を行うことが重要な課題である。 [Abstract] This paper studies to actually confirm the existence of fire mark and aims to clarify from the fieldwork whether other fire marks exist in Kawaramachi neighborhood of Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto city. As the result, we were able to confirm a total of eleven fire marks in this fieldwork including Tokyo Fire, Nippon Fire, Meiji Fire and Toyo Fire. In addition, we were able to newly discover the fire mark of Toyo Fire which had not been confirmed in the previous investigation among the eleven fire marks found in this fieldwork. This year is 130 years since the foundation of a fire insurance company in our country. The situation of fire marks remaining in old townscapes is severe and it is an important task to confirm and preserve them. |
