| 内容記述 | 日本とフランスでそれぞれよく読まれている幼児向けの絵本の比較を行った。主人公と家族のありふれた日常生活を中心に描いたロングセラーのシリーズ絵本を日仏2種ずつ選び、子どもを取り巻く日常の描写、個の尊重や自主性、子どもの言動、意思表明、感情表現、他者との関わり、言語表現に注目して分析し、そこに見られる文化的背景や子ども観の相違について比較、考察を試みた。その結果、本研究で取り上げた日本の絵本には、共感や協調性が多く見られ、他者との関係性や生活習慣の中での自主性が描かれていたのに対し、フランスの絵本では、個を中心とした自己表現、自主性が多く描かれ、感情表現や言語表現にも違いが見られた。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study conducted a comparative analysis of picture books for young children that are widely read in Japan and France respectively. Two long-selling series from each country were selected, each focusing on the ordinary daily lives of child protagonists and their families. The analysis examined depictions of children's daily environments, respect for individuality and autonomy, children's behavior, expression of intentions, emotional expression, interactions with others, and linguistic features of the text. Through this analysis, we attempted to compare and examine the differences in cultural backgrounds and views of childhood reflected in these works. The results revealed that the Japanese picture books examined in this study frequently portrayed empathy and cooperation, depicting autonomy within interpersonal relationships and daily life habits. In contrast, the French picture books predominantly featured individual-centered self-expression and autonomy, with notable differences also observed in emotional expression and linguistic features. | |||||||||||||
