| 内容記述 | 1990年代後半以降、日本企業は投資や人材育成に消極的で生産性が上昇せず、実質賃金が下落し続けている。本研究では、労働生産性と実質賃金のリンケージの程度を調査し、賃金が上昇しない要因を分析した。分析の結果、1990年代後半以降、非正規雇用の割合増加の影響により労働生産性と平均賃金とのリンケージが弱まったこと、製造業の生産性成長鈍化やサービス産業でのマイナス成長が経済全体の労働生産性成長を鈍化させていたこと、雇用が相対的に低賃金産業へシフトしていたことを確認した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Since the late 1990s, Japanese firms have not been willing to invest and develop human capital, and as a result productivity has not increased and real wages have continued to fall. This study investigates the extent to which labor productivity and real wages are linked and analyzes the factors that are preventing wages from rising. The study finds that since the late 1990s the linkage between labor productivity and average wages has weakened due to the increase in the proportion of low wage part-time employment. It also finds that the productivity growth slowdown in manufacturing sector and negative growth in the service sector have slowed down labor productivity growth in the whole economy, and that employment has shifted toward relatively low-wage industries. | |||||||||
