| 内容記述 | 本研究は，加齢に伴い蓄積しやすくなる内臓脂肪の過剰な蓄積を，健康と病気の間を連続的に変化する “未病” 状態のマーカーとして捉え，世界各地の伝統・伝承医薬学において供される天然医薬品，とりわけ，我が国の独自性の高い植物製剤である漢方製剤およびその構成生薬のなかから，内臓脂肪の低減に資する活性天然物を探索することを目的とした．本研究の成果として，茶飲料素材であるマテ葉部および種々の植物資源から得られるトリテルペンサポニン類に中性脂肪吸収抑制作用を見いだすとともに，漢方処方の防已黄耆湯や防風通聖散の抽出エキスに高脂肪食飼育した加齢動物モデルを用いた内臓脂肪蓄積量の低減作用などが見いだされた． | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study considered the excess accumulation of visceral fat, which tends to accumulate with age, as a marker of a "pre-illness" state that changes continuously between health and illness, and aimed to search for active natural products that contribute to the reduction of visceral fat obtained from natural medicines provided in traditional medicines all over the world, especially Kampo preparations, which are highly original in Japan. As the result, it was found that triterpene saponins obtained from ingredients in tea beverages such as mate leaves, and various plant resources have an inhibitory effect on plasma triglyceride elevation in olive oil-treated mice model, and that extracts from the Kampo prescriptions such as Boiyogito and Bofutsushosan have an ameliorative effects on the progression of aging-induced obesity. | |||||||||
