| 内容記述 | This study aimed to elucidate the role of the innate immune molecule SARM1 in regulating inflammation. We discovered that SARM1 regulates the production of inflammatory cytokines through two distinct mechanisms: one dependent on its enzyme (NADase) activity and another independent of it. Specifically, we revealed that Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) production is regulated via the NADase-independent mechanism. In contrast, Interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) secretion is regulated by a combination of NADase-dependent regulation and NADase-independent suppression of the NLRP3 inflammasome. These findings demonstrate a complex regulatory role for SARM1 in inflammation, differentiating the regulatory pathways for distinct cytokines. They have been published in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at an international conference. | |||||||||
