| 内容記述 | タウオパチーモデルマウスであるP301S（PS19）マウスを用いて、アルツハイマー病（AD）で現れる概日リズム睡眠障害のタウ神経毒性による影響を検討した。その結果、神経病理学的解析からタウオパチーの病状が進行すると多くの脳領域で病理所見が観察されたが、SCN内では約24時間周期の概日リズムを発振していることを確認した。一方で、行動の概日リズムや行動量は変化することが分った。タウオパチーで現れる睡眠-覚醒リズム異常はSCNからの時間情報発振以降で脳機能障害が起きていることが示唆された。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | Using P301S (PS19) mice, a tauopathy model mouse, we investigated the effects of tau neurotoxicity on the circadian rhythm sleep disorder that appears in Alzheimer's disease (AD). As a result, neuropathological analysis revealed pathological findings in many brain regions as the tauopathy progressed, but we confirmed that the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) continued to oscillate with an approximately 24-hour circadian rhythm. On the other hand, the behavioral circadian rhythm and the amount of activity were found to change. Abnormalities in the sleep-wake rhythm observed in tauopathy suggest that dysfunction occurs within the network connecting SCN to other regions of the brain. | |||||||||
