| 内容記述 | 悪性胸膜中皮腫に特異的な血中バイオマーカーの開発を目的に、中皮腫患者53名、健常人47名、肺癌患者43名の治療前血清よりsmall RNAを精製し、網羅的解析を行った。中皮腫と健常人のsmall RNA発現を比較し、有意に上昇する3種を同定。これらを用いてdiagnostic modelを構築し、感度91.4%、AUC 0.74を示した。Validation setでも高感度が再現され、肺癌患者との識別性から中皮腫に特異的な指標と考えられた。現在、英文原著論文を作成済みである。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | To develop a blood-based biomarker specific for malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM), we extracted small RNAs from pre-treatment serum samples of 53 MPM patients, 47 healthy controls, and 43 lung cancer patients, and conducted comprehensive profiling. Comparison between MPM and healthy controls identified three significantly upregulated small RNAs. A diagnostic model using these RNAs achieved a sensitivity of 91.4% with an AUC of 0.74. High sensitivity was also confirmed in a validation set, and no significant differences were observed between healthy controls and lung cancer patients, suggesting MPM specificity. A manuscript is currently in preparation for publication. | |||||||||
