| 内容記述 | イベント発生までの時間をエンドポイントとする臨床試験では、Cox回帰モデルによって算出されるハザード比が一般的に適用されている。しかし、算出されたハザード比に適切な解釈を与えることは一般的に困難である。 本研究では、因果推論で用いられるresponse typeの概念に基づいて、境界内平均生存期間を評価指標としたときの予後・予測因子を探索する方法を開発した。さらに、分母に境界内平均生存期間を含む平均ハザードは、重み付き算術平均よりも調和平均として解釈する方が自然であり、イベントが発生した時点だけを用いて推定されるべきであることを示した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | In clinical trials where the time to event is the endpoint, hazard ratios calculated by the Cox regression model are commonly applied. However, it is generally difficult to give an appropriate interpretation to the calculated hazard ratio. In this research, based on the concept of response type used in causal inference, I developed a method to explore prognostic and predictive factors when the restricted mean survival time is used as the measure to evaluate the endpoint. Furthermore, I showed that it is more natural to interpret the average hazard, which includes the restricted mean survival time in the denominator, as a harmonic mean rather than a weighted arithmetic mean, and the average hazard should be estimated using only the times at which the event is observed. | |||||||||
