| 内容記述 | 本研究は、和歌山県田辺市新庄町の文里湾岸製材地域における土地利用と所有の変遷を明治期から昭和期にかけて分析し、製材所の立地過程とその背景を明らかにした。塩業や索道による流通・商売に利用されていた跡地が上手く製材所へと利用されたこと、土地開発へ林業・木材産業関連事業者が参画し土地を所有していたこと、製材所が立地する以前に林業・木材産業関連事業者が土地所有・利用に関わっていたことなどを明らかにした。以上から、他産業からの転換期の空間利用状況や土地所有が、地域形成に影響を及ぼしていた。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study analyzed changes in land use and ownership in the Mori Bay lumber area in Shinjo Town, Tanabe City, Wakayama Prefecture, from the Meiji period to the Showa period, and clarified the process and background of the location of the sawmill. The study revealed that the land used for salt and cableway distribution and commerce was successfully converted to a sawmill, that forestry and timber industry-related businesses participated in land development and owned the land, and that forestry and timber industry-related businesses were involved in land ownership and use before the sawmill was located. From the above, spatial usage and land ownership during the transition period from other industries had an impact on regional development. | |||||||||
